The International Aluminium Congress will include the 12th Aluminium Two Thousand Congress and the 7th ICEB - International Conference on Extrusion and Benchmark.
Interall Srl is pleased to present the International Aluminium Congress, the two-in-one event which includes the 12th Aluminium Two Thousand Congress and the 7th ICEB - International Conference on Extrusion and Benchmark that will take place from 19th
to 23rd September 2023 at the Carlton Hotel in Bologna (Italy).
The event has been organised once again in collaboration with the Department of Industrial Engineering - Sector of Technologies and Processing Systems from the University of Bologna, that has been working for over a decade in research activities in areas such as laser processing, machine tools, fabrication of plastic deformations and melting processes and in the production technologies of composite materials with polymer reinforcement.
The unique properties of aluminium, such as its flexibility, ductility, recyclability and compatibility with other materials, make the metal perfect for an infinite variety of uses. Thanks to its endless and valuable features, aluminium is in fact used in many industries to make millions of different products and is increasing its importance for the world economy. Ultra-light alloys on the other side are becoming ever more interesting for several critical applications.
The congress will analyse all the aspects of the aluminium value chain, providing participants with the opportunity to exchange ideas and advices and meet colleagues as well as technical and scientific experts from around the world. Three parallel sessions will ensure that all subjects will be covered in detail. Moreover, the event will include and advanced anodising workshop and a focus on the automotive market. The papers will be reviewed by the technical committee of the conference in order to select the most innovative studies and researches, new industrial applications and interesting case studies.
On the second day of the International Aluminium Congress will also be held the traditional gala dinner, during which participants and accompanying persons will spend a memorable evening characterised by Italian cuisine in a historic palace in the centre of Bologna. In addition, the organisers have also featured a final tour of the historic city of Ravenna.
