SAT (Surface Aluminium Technologies) is proud to announce that in a few weeks they are starting with the assembly of a new FOX® line in Greece, the 7th plant with Flash Oxidation Technology in the world since 2010.
FOX® plant is an innovative technology entirely designed by SAT Spa and covered with an European Patent approved in January 2014. It allows to perform the Flash Anodizing process automatically and in-line along a Vertical Powder Coating Line.
The Flash Anodizing Process consists in a very rapid anodic oxidation treatment that deposits a 3 to 8 micron thick layer of open-pore oxide: this excellently replaces the conventional chromate treatment, giving the aluminium surface a higher corrosion resistance.
Moreover, it enables the automatic QUALICOAT and SEASIDE quality endorsement, representing the state-of-art of powder coating.
