The international railway technology trade fair SIFER has announced the programme for the new 2021 edition.
The organisers of SIFER 2021, the trade fair dedicated to the railway industry that will take place from 26th to 28th
October 2021 at the Grand Palais Exhibition Centre in Lille (France), have announced the exhibition programme. Attendees will have the opportunity to discover the latest innovations and stay up to date on the ongoing challenges and trends, as well as meet industry leaders in-person and exchange information and inshights.
Among others, the trade fair will host the UNIFE conference on the competitiveness of the European railway industry, the concrete case of Uretek concerning the filling of a box culvert and the treatment of a slop under the track, and the vision of Railcoop in terms of collaborative innovation.
In addition, more than a quarter of the exhibition space will be dedicated to the infrastructure sector. In partnership with ETF, sections of track will be implemented in the hall to allow suppliers of rail vehicles and track equipment to display their products and allow visitors to directly experience products sit, work and look on track.
The 12th International Exhibition of Railway Technology is organised in the Hauts-de-France regions, that employ almost a third of all French rail workers and generate more the 25% of the national industry turnover. SIFER is supported by the Hauts-de-France Region, SNCF Réseau, IRT Railenium, the FIF, i-Trans, ERA and UNIFE.
