The sustainability strategy of ASK Chemicals will allow the company to become climate neutral by 2050.
The ASK Chemicals Group has recently announced the new sustainability targets and the related strategy
of the company: the international supplier of high-performance industrial resins and materials for the paints and coatings market will steadily reduce its greenhouse gas emissions in order to decrease Scope 2 emissions by 30% until 2030 and reach climate neutrality in 2050.
As part of its sustainability strategy, which is covering environmental as well as social and corporate governance, the company has already implemented closed water cycles and several departments have appointed internal experts to spearhead the initiative and establish a strategy based on a thorough materiality analysis.
“The strategy is receiving the full support of the management of ASK Chemicals Group. We are happy and motivated to have achieved this important milestone – an important step forward to further strengthen ESG within our company. We will now transfer our strategy into the different regions as a holistic global approach, of course with adjustments to local challenges and consonant with cultural diversity,” has stated Jens Müller, the CTO of ASK Chemicals Group, who is also responsible for ESG.
