Axalta was recognised as one of the best suppliers from 2023 by General Motors for its performances and innovation efforts.
The international paints and coatings manufacturer Axalta Coating Systems has recently announced that it was appointed as a top global supplier of 2023 by General Motors during the annual Supplier of the Year recognition event, held by the company in Miami (United States of America).
“We are proud to be recognised by General Motors again as a 2023 Supplier of the Year. Through our strong relationship, we provide innovative products like AquaEC™, our low carbon footprint sustainable coating system and services like our COATS Model to General Motors. We strive to help them create advanced vehicles while also furthering our mutual sustainability goals,” has stated Hadi Awada, the president of the Global Mobility Coatings division at Axalta.
In total, eighty-six suppliers were awarded during the ceremony. The winners had been previously rigorously selected by a cross-functional team from General Motors based on their performances, innovation, cultural alignment with the values of the company and their commitment to achieving ambitious goals.
