Jérémie Maillard will support Belzona UK to strengthen its position in the field of specialist protective coatings.
The international manufacturer of repair and maintenance solutions Belzona
has recently announced that it has appointed Jérémie Maillard as the new managing director of its subsidiary Belzona UK, following the creation of an independent distributorship in January 2024.
Beginning his career in 2006, Maillard has been working with Belzona for eighteen years, ranging from mechanical and chemical engineering to business development and sales. He has provided technical advice and training to international distributors, while also offering commercial support to increase the market penetration of Belzona solutions in Europe and Africa. More recently, Maillard has helped to establish an independent distributorship in Germany, overseeing the North Rhine-Westphalia, Saarland, Rhineland-Palatinate, Hesse and Thuringia regions.
“We want to strengthen our position in the field of composite repairs and specialist protective coatings and assist the key industries present in the UK. Our aim is to offer end users the opportunity to use Belzona solutions, either themselves, via our own Application Team or via a Trained Contractor,” has declared Maillard.
Established in 1952, Belzona has pioneered an innovative polymer technology that has revolutionised industrial repair and maintenance procedures. Nowadays, it designs and manufactures polymer repair composites and industrial protective coatings for the repair, protection and improvement of machinery, equipment, buildings and structures. The subsidiary in the United Kingdom has been established at the beginning of 2024 to create a specialised focus in supporting industries to help conserve equipment and facilities while reducing ecological footprint by rehabilitating and sustaining the life and performance of physical assets.
“I will communicate the strategy for the next three years with specific industry targets to ensure optimum cohesion and collaboration between the various aspects of the business, including: Sales, Training, Application Service, Customer Service and Marketing,” has added Maillard. “Whilst the UK is a matured market for Belzona, there are still major growth opportunities. Belzona solutions do offer significant benefits for the end users, from time sensitive applications, limited maintenance budgets, or to simply reduce their environmental impact. One of our primary goals will be to support key industries and reintroduce some well-known Belzona repairs, but also introducing new innovative solutions.”
