Company also introduces new airless equipment produced by the US company Titan
The São Paulo-based company, Cetec, a Brazilian reference in painting equipment, completes 25 years this month. To celebrate its anniversary, the company decided to promote a series of launches, with novelties involving the industrial and building painting segments, in addition to the marking area.
For the industries, no less than three electrostatic paint applicators – Tecplus 4, Tecplus 4S and Tecplus 4S+ – have just come out of Cetec's development area. The first combines extreme ease of control – it is possible to activate its functions with just one touch – with saving up to 10% of paint, an attribute guaranteed by the distinctive design of the nozzle. Tecplus 4S, in turn, is 100% digital and also features a system that warns about the lack of grounding, while Tecplus 4S+ has a high voltage generator coupled to the gun, a worldwide trend in the electrostatic paint market.
"Many of the improvements on the new Tecplus models came from consultations with our clients. We listened to dozens of stories before coming up with the final designs of the equipment, all of which privilege ease of use and minimal operator dependence," said Eduardo Cernic, director of Cetec.
In relation to the building and marking markets (internal and road marking), the novelty lies with Tecline, a mobile paint station designed to make both vertical airless application and horizontal marking. "It's an unprecedented solution in Brazil, with patent already applied for by Cetec. By acquiring Tecline, the user is able to bring together the advantages of two machines in one." Quite silent and equipped with hybrid power – electric or gasoline –, the launch allows the painting of up to 1,000 m²/day of walls and facades, as well as the marking of sheds, industrial areas, parking lots and avenues.
"Although Cetec operates in the maintenance and distribution of equipment, we are, above all, manufacturers. This allows us to serve the market with projects tailored to the needs of Brazilian companies and offer an effective after sales service, with an exclusive technical staff and spare parts warranty."
Partnership with Titan
Cetec's distribution department also brings some news. Exclusive distributor since 2004 of the US-based Titan, a global leader in airless paint, Cetec added three new lines to its portfolio. Titan Performance 560e is suitable for applications that require maximum capacity and high performance associated with low mist emission. Titan Impact 740 features two guns – paint and spackling paste – and is intended for the application of heavier coatings. Finally, Titan Impact 1040 is indicated for large projects that demand more powerful machines.
Cetec has supplied more than 20,000 machines to over 10,000 customers throughout South America.
