The manufacturing facility in Taiwan will allow Evonik to meet the rising demand for precipitated matting agents in Asia.
The Coating Additives business line of Evonik
has recently announced that it is planning to expand its production capacity for the ACEMATT® precipitated matting agents.
The new manufacturing facility, located in Taiwan, is scheduled to be completed by the second half of 2023 and will help the company to meet the rising demand for matting agents in Asia. The products will have the same properties as the ones currently manufactured at Evonik’s production site in Bonn (Germany).

The ACEMATT portfolio includes several products that combine effectiveness for matting properties and easy integration into the coating system and its various industrial and transportation application areas range from textile to plastic, leather can and coil coatings. In addition, it allows formulators to reach the full spectrum of matting levels – from semigloss to ultra-deep matt.
