Hempel’s new podcast series brings together maritime leaders to explore how inclusion can boost the sector’s resilience and sustainability.
The paints and coating supplier Hempel has launched its inaugural podcast, Beyond the Horizon, focusing on the importance of diversity in the maritime industry. The first season brings together key figures in the sector to discuss how greater diversity, equity, and inclusion can create a stronger, more sustainable industry.
“As a key partner to the maritime sector, we have a responsibility to contribute to its long-term sustainability, not only environmentally, but also socially. That’s why we created this podcast: to help bring visibility to the diversity challenges our industry faces and to highlight the practical actions that can move us forward,” has stated Alexander Enström, Executive Vice President and Head of Marine at Hempel.
Season 1: Fostering Diversity in Maritime
The first season of Beyond the Horizon delves into the barriers and opportunities for promoting inclusion in the maritime industry, featuring insights from business leaders, academics, and non-profit experts. Through five episodes, the series explores how companies can foster more inclusive work environments both at sea and onshore.
