Orion S.A. has released its latest Sustainability Report to highlight the eco-friendly initiatives of the company.
The global specialty chemicals supplier Orion S.A has recently released its latest Sustainability Report, highlighting the launch of four new sustainable products, a Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions inventory
and the completion of an air emissions control project.
“Supplying the growing demand for sustainable products and accelerating the transition to a circular economy are key components of our strategy. Orion as well as our customers are serious about making their raw materials fully sustainable. So, we are heavily engaged in this area and work closely with our customers to develop solutions,” has stated Corning Painter, CEO of Orion.
The air emissions control initiative started five years ago and now symbolises the biggest sustainability-linked project of Orion. Furthermore, also the Scope 3 greenhouse gas emissions inventory represents a milestone for Orion, since it helps the company to reduce the value chain emissions, which currently account for less than 40% of the total emissions. In addition, the firm is also focussing on Scope 1 and 2.
