Sun Chemical confirmed to be a sustainable company with a silver rating from EcoVadis.
The global supplier of pigments, coatings and inks Sun Chemical has recently received a silver rating from EcoVadis for its sustainability efforts across all business units and regions. The recognition, earned through the assessment of EcoVadis in the environment, ethics, labour and human rights and sustainable procurement categories, places the company within the top 25% of all the rated organisations.

This award is a strong reflection of our dedication to improving eco-efficiency and providing industry advancements in sustainability as we work with DIC Corporation toward our goal of carbon neutrality by 2050”, has stated Mike Simoni, Global Sustainability Director of Sun Chemical.
The silver rating stresses the sustainability initiatives of Sun chemical, considering both upstream and downstream environmental impacts. Using the 5R framework of Reuse, Reduce, Renew, Recycle and Redesign as a guide, the company has made several developments to reduce carbon footprint, conserve virgin resources and minimise waste.
