The next Waterborne, High‐Solids and Powder Coating event will offer several insights on the latest technologies for the paints and coatings industries.

The International Waterborne, High‐Solids and Powder Coating Symposium will celebrate its 51st Anniversary from February 4th to 9th 2024 at The Astor Crowne Plaza in New Orleans (Louisiana, U.S.A.), embracing all aspects of the paint and coatings industry.

The annual symposium is a technical platform focused on eco-friendly solutions and research papers from the academic, governmental and industrial sectors. As a matter of fact, the five-day event will promote networking opportunities and allow coatings experts, chemists, industry leaders, business owners, suppliers, students and educators to discover the latest technologies. In addition, it will offer educational and technical presentations that delve deeper into the world of paints, coatings and marketing.

The plenary lecturers for the 2024 edition are:

  • Sharon Feng and Daniel Moyano from PPG: "Accelerating Innovation in the Chemical Industry: Promises and Challenges of Digital Transformation."
  • Jim Reader, the annual Sidney Lauren Memorial Lecturer from Evonik: "Sustainability: An Additive Supplier Perspective."
  • Bret Sumerlin from the University of Florida: "Photocatalysis to Derivatize, Depolymerize, and Degrade Polymers."
