The last edition of EUROCORR allowed Cortec to showcase its latest solutions for corrosion protection.
Cortec® Corporation has recently announced that it has successfully attended EUROCORR 2024, the industrial trade fair dedicated to the European corrosion protection sector held from 1st to 5th September 2024 at the Palais des Congrès in Paris (France).
The event attracted over 1,200 participants from 53 countries, both from Europe and the Middle East. The staff from Cortec presented innovative anticorrosion colusion and provided a significant contribution to the conference with the presentation of four papers:
- Sustainability in Corrosion Control: Bio-Based Acrylic VCI Coating vs. Traditional Inhibitors (written in conjunction with the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering and Naval Architecture/University of Zagreb).
- Vapor Phase Corrosion Inhibiting Biodegradable and Compostable Packaging For The Electronic Industry: new generation of Vapor phase Corrosion Inhibiting (VpCI®) films with recycled content.
- SACI Utilization in the Reconstruction of a World-Class Sporting Heritage and Football Stadium.
In addition, theCortec personnel also actively engaged with visitors, explaining its VpCI technology and addressing questions on biobased coatings, preservation for boilers and drilling equipment and specific corrosion concerns.
