The next edition of FITMA, the international event for the metalworking sector, will take place from January 18th to 20th 2022 at the Citibanamex Center, in Mexico City.
Gardner Business Media (GBM) has announced that the next edition of FITMA, the International Technology and Manufacturing Fair for Latin America, will take place from January 18th to 20th 2022 at the Citibanamex Center, in Mexico City.
In addition, the Manufacturing Supply Chain Expo (MSC Expo) will be held on the same dates with the aim of making the entire event a single window for the manufacturing industry.
“We are excited to have an international event such as FITMA for the manufacturing community throughout Latin America here in Mexico. We have experienced amazing events in other parts of the world (like EMO, JIMTOF, IMTS, SIMTOS, TIMTOS, CIMT and IMTEX) and we believe that it is time to have our own international event for this part of the world. FITMA will be that forum in which manufacturing leaders from different industries, from Mexico to Argentina, will meet to witness the latest technology and the most innovative production techniques by participating in the International Conference Program and being part of the different networking spaces that will take place during and after the event. In addition, FITMA, like no other international event, will offer the possibility of seeing, in the same space, world leading technology providers and Mexican and international manufacturers adapted to the new needs of the supply chain. This will be possible thanks to the co-location of MSC Expo, the world-class event that will take place simultaneously, which will allow maximum efficiency for all those leading manufacturers who invest their time in attending”, said Claude Mas, Executive Director of International Business at Gardner Business Media.
After reviewing the vaccination process in Mexico, Central and South America, the organizers, together with industry leaders, made the decision to postpone the event to next January, with the aim of receiving exhibitors and visitors, both national and international, in a safer way.
“B2B events are very important because of the role they play in the restarting of the economy and its consequent effect on the generation of new job opportunities and employment creation. All the industries involved in the metalworking sector require consistency to continue growing their businesses and thus lead development and economic stability, not only in Mexico but throughout the Latin American region. FITMA represents this great space in which industry professionals will meet to support the current situation, in addition to managing and creating future businesses”, stated Arturo Morales, Director of events and marketing at Gardner Business Media in Mexico.
FITMA will present the latest international technology from leading suppliers, as well as all the knowledge of efficient manufacturing, and MSC Expo, for its part, will allow to review the options to better satisfy the needs of the supply chain.
