Lior Dadon will help IMCD Israel to improve its commercial growth in the speciality chemicals and ingredients market.
IMCD has recently announced that it has appointed Lior Dadon as new managing director of its Israeli subsidiary, effective from 1st July 2023. He will support the growth of the international formulator and provider of speciality chemicals
and ingredients by expanding the partnerships, fostering commercial excellence, pursuing potential M&A prospects, nurturing talent development and propelling the digital transformation of the business.
“With the strategic acquisition of Zifroni over three years ago, we established a solid foundation within the Israeli market. The subsequent successful acquisitions of Tagra Personal Care and KOI Industries, as well as the addition of the distribution of Sun Chemical pigments, have significantly expanded our reach across key business segments in the country. Today, these four businesses collectively form IMCD Israel, representing our strong presence,” has stated Frank Schneider, the director of the business group Coatings & Construction of IMCD as well as a member of the executive committee. “I am confident in Lior's leadership abilities to seamlessly integrate these entities and spearhead our rapid growth within the thriving and ever-evolving Israeli market.”
Dadon had started his career in Ernst & Young and then progressed to multiple global commercial and senior management roles. Before joining IMCD, the new managing director was the CEO of Holland Moran. He will be based at the in Shoham Industrial Park and will be reporting to Schneider.
