Jörg Krames will strengthen the
brand perception and further develop the digitalisation of Byk-Gardner.
The international measuring instrument manufacturer Byk-Gardner has recently announced that it has appointed Jörg Krames as its new president and managing director: the main goals of the new head of the company will be to strengthen the brand perception and further develop the digitalisation of the business processes.
Jörg Krames is a trained mechanical engineer with a doctorate in chemical engineering. In the past, he served as Director Key Account in Japan and Germany for the Coatings division of BASF – focusing on projects for several car brands such as Toyota and Volkswagen – and then he has spent fifteen years as responsible for the Coatings business line at Eckart (which is also part of the Altana Group). In the new role, Krames will also oversee the upcoming generational change and transformation projects.
