LB Group will promote its wide range of TiO2 pigments for paints, coatings, and inks at the Highly-functional Material Week Tokyo.
LB Group has recently announced that it will participate at the Highly-Functional Material Week, an event held from 29th to 31st
October 2024 at the Makuhari Messe in Tokyo (Japan). During the trade fair, the company will showcase its wide range of world-class and high-performance titanium dioxide - TiO2 pigments for paints, coatings, inks, plastics and paper laminates.
Visitors will also be able to discover the new Billions™ BLR-896+ rutile titanium dioxide pigment manufactured using a chloride process: with its optimised alumina and silica coating, it has been specifically designed to provide superior weatherability for demanding exterior applications as well as excellent optical and dispersion performances, offering improved opacity, tint strength and gloss.
In addition, at booth 7-60 in the Paint & Coatings Hall, LB Group will present:
- Billions R-996 durable TiO2
pigment for external and internal architectural coatings;
- Billions TR52 world-class and specialist TiO2 pigment for printing inks;
- Billions LR-108 pigment for plastics applications that require high thermal stability (such as masterbatches and compounds);
- Billions LR-952 pigment for decorative paper laminates.
The company has already invested millions of dollars to grow its TiO2 pigment manufacturing business significantly. As a matter of fact, it is able to reach a 1,510 kilotons production capacity across six different sites in China through a sulphate and chloride process.
