Lubrizol's latest Sustainability Report Update further highlights its commitment to delivering sustainable solutions globally.

Lubrizol has recently released its 2024 Sustainability Report Update - ‘Imagined for Life. Enabled by Science™’ – marking its sustainability priorities: innovation for sustainable impact, empowering responsible citizenship and engaging teams and communities.

As part of its commitment to sustainable innovation, Lubrizol continues to advance key technologies, such as Carbopol® BioSense, a bio-based and readily biodegradable rheology modifier and sensory enhancer, and SulfrZol™ 54, an additive that supports the production of renewable fuels, including Sustainable Aviation Fuel (SAF).

“Sustainability is embedded in every stage of our innovation process—from our science-based innovators creating products that reduce climate impact and enhance resource conservation to championing circularity. I am proud of our unparallelled innovation progress and expertise which continues to deliver breakthrough solutions and creates value and impact for our customers with global reach and local presence,” has stated Elizabeth Grove, Chief Sustainability Officer and VP, Public Affairs at Lubrizol.

In line with its environmental goals, the company has ALSO achieved a 16% reduction in combined Scope 1 & 2 greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions in 2024, compared to the 2018 baseline, reinforcing its efforts to minimise its carbon footprint. Additionally, Lubrizol is deepening its engagement with communities by resetting its target to 100,000 volunteer hours by its 100th anniversary in 2028, demonstrating its dedication to social responsibility.
