Mankiewicz will showcase innovative anti-glare coatings and alternatives to chrome plating at PaintExpo 2024.
The international paints and coatings manufacturer Mankiewicz has recently announced its participation at PaintExpo (stand 1319, hall 1), the global trade fair that will take place from 9th to 12th
April 2024 at the Karlsruhe Exhibition Centre (Germany). The long-established company based in Hamburg will then present its products and services with as specific focus on a holistic view of the respective customer processes and the demands of their surfaces.
More specifically, the company will showcase its anti-glare coatings for reflection-free surfaces, with a portfolio composed of various levels in order to satisfy the requirements and intended use. These solutions are particularly suitable for optical devices, that are becoming increasingly widespread.
As a matter of fact, products such as microscopes, cameras and assistance systems for autonomous driving must be free of stray reflections to function smoothly and accurately. The two garden gnomes on display, one with a glare-free coating and the other classically coated, will illustrate how paint can influence the degree of reflection in different ways.
In many areas of application, chrome surfaces are popular as a timeless design element. Mankiewicz will then also present its high-quality and elegant alternatives to the costly and toxic process required for chrome plating, obtained through an efficient and safe painting process employing standard equipment.
