The international paints and coatings manufacturer PPG has made relevant progress regarding near-term 2030 environmental, social and governance targets - including increased sales of sustainable solutions and enhanced greenhouse gas emissions reduction across its operations and value chain.

We know that our commitments positively impact the environment, our customers and ultimately support PPG’s long-term growth. Our 2030 goals are pushing us into new areas, and we’re proud to demonstrate our global leadership in this space,” has stated Diane Kappas, Vice-President for global sustainability at PPG.

- 10% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions in Scope 1 and 2;
- 12% emission reduction in Scope 3 through purchasing of goods and services, processing of sold products by customers and end-of-life treatment of sold products;
- 45% of process waste reused, recycled or recovered.
