PPG ranked second in the chemicals category, receiving high scores for social responsibility and people management.
The international paints and coatings supplier PPG
has announced it has been recognised by Fortune Magazine on its World’s Most Admired Companies® List for the 16th year in a row. The company ranked second in the chemical industry, achieving the highest scores in people management and social responsibility.
“This recognition is a testament to the hard work and dedication of our more than 50,000 employees that meet the needs of our stakeholders every day. In order to determine the ranking, companies were assigned a score following a scale of 1 to 10, based on innovation, people management, use of company resources, social responsibility, management quality, long-term investments, financial solidity, quality of products and services as well as global competitiveness.
