Due to the global pandemic of COVID-19, the 2020 edition of the Salone del Mobile.Milano, initially postponed to June, has been officially cancelled and rescheduled for the year 2021.
The 2020 edition of the Salone del Mobile.Milano has been suspended and rescheduled from 13 to 18 April 2021.
Already on February 25 the Board of the event had decided to postpone the Salone del Mobile from April to June but the further worsening of the situation contrasted the efforts of the organizers to make sure the event ran smoothly.
"The medium-term uncertainties and the persistence of the emergency situation, now extended to all the countries of the world, do not allow to confirm the correct running of the Show ", this is what is written in the press release of the Salone del Mobile.Milano.
Salone del Mobile.Milano 2021: a special and even richer edition
The next edition, scheduled for 2021, will be a special appointment for the entire design and furniture sector as it will celebrate the
60th anniversary of the Salone del Mobile.Milano.
For the first time, jointly with the Salone Internazionale del Mobile, the International Furnishing Accessories Exhibition, Workplace3.0, S.Project and SaloneSatellite will be held also all the biennial exhibitions.
In addition to Euroluce, scheduled for 2021, EuroCucina will also be present, with its collateral event FTK - Technology for the Kitchen, and the International Bathroom Exhibition.
"The 2021 edition will be the perfect occasion for a single major system event that will represent a huge opportunity for companies to re-launch themselves and for the entire supply chain that works synergistically with the Salone and for Milan.", explain the organizers.
