SAT is proud to announce that it is finalising the commissioning of a Vertical Powder Coating Plant in Poland, the 11th SAT Line in the Country, for Portos Rolety, a Polish company active in the field of high quality windows shutters.
The choice of the Polish firm, which opted for a flexible and high-productivity Vertical Powder Coating Line equipped with two Powder Coating Booths for its facilities in Kalisz, underlines once again the role of market leader played by SAT in the Polish field of aluminium surface treatment.
To satisfy the needs of the Polish company, we have provided a new concept of "V" shape fast cleaning Powder Coating Booth with a high powder transfer-efficiency. This model of booth allows:
- To improve the powder penetration, the coating thickness uniformity, the physical quality of the coating layer - consisting mainly in fresh powder
- To optimize the distribution of powder on all the sides of the profiles
- To reduce dramatically the consumption of powder.
Then, SAT foreseen Polypropylene tanks and PVC walls for the pre-treatment tunnel to ensure the best conditions to work with chemical products and to grant durability, resistance against corrosion and thermal insulation.
Moreover, SAT implemented its offer by equipping its Vertical Line with a Curing Oven with revolving doors system. This new development, thanks to the insertion of three revolving doors in the curing oven, allows the profiles to enter/exit the oven while the oven is kept constantly closed. Due to this expedient, the customer can reach a drastic reduction of the energy consumption of the whole system and a final product quality improvement.
Finally, the Vertical Line in Portos Rolety will be the first plant in Poland equipped with SAT Smart-Coat vision and recognition system, able to recognize the cross section of profiles that are loaded on the line with the aim to automatically complete the coating process.
