The new Sherwin-Williams High Performance Flooring Visualizer allows the creative exploration of colour combinations and decorative aggregate sizes to bring flooring visions to life.
The Protective & Marine division of the international paints and coatings manufacturer Sherwin-Williams
has introduced High Performance Flooring Visualizer, a new free digital tool allowing architects, designers and contractors to easily explore an array of flooring options – from standard designs to customised blends – and tailor them to their specific project needs.
The web-based instrument is fully responsive and has been designed to support convenience and interactivity, enabling users to access the tool seamlessly across desktop and mobile devices. It offers personalised features that simplify the creative exploration of colour combinations and decorative aggregate sizes.
“The High Performance Flooring Visualizer offers a fun way to discover the perfect look and feel for each unique space with unprecedented precision and creativity, offering a new approach to conceptualising flooring solutions with ease while saving time, money and resources,” has stated Casey Ball, the global market director for the Flooring business unit at the Protective & Marine division of Sherwin-Williams.
As a matter of fact, it incorporates a comprehensive range of flooring options, including decorative flake, quartz, metallic and solid-coloured systems. In addition, the High Performance Flooring Visualizer is the only tool to offer the visualisation of terrazzo systems.

The design platform is preloaded with thirteen common commercial and industrial settings, such as schools, hospitals, lobbies, pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities and walkways. Moreover, the users can upload pictures of their own interiors.
The customisation options are extensive and flexible, allowing users to adjust colours, flake sizes, textures (coarse or fine) and blends for aggregates. With a full selection of the 140 shades for flake chips, 51 standard and unlimited custom terrazzo blends incorporating adjustable base colours and aggregate sizes and colours and 47 tones for quartz available in custom blends, users have the option of incorporating multiple hues into a floor – tailoring each system to preferred specifications.
Users can print, email or digitally share designs to social media, as well as create an account to save their designs for access later. They can also conveniently order custom samples directly from the tool, providing a tangible preview of the final product.
“This tool is easy to use and gives customers full control to create their preferred designs. With our commitment to user-centric design, the High Performance Flooring Visualizer empowers anyone to enhance and refine interiors with unparalleled ease and precision, streamlining the approval process for all involved,” has concluded Ball.
