Sherwin-Williams will showcase FASTtrack, Stocked Powder Program and E-commerce Store to deliver fast, convenient and reliable support to its clients.
The General Industrial Coatings division of Sherwin-Williams has recently announced that it will take part in FABTECH, the international trade fair dedicated to metal forming, fabricating, welding and finishing that will be held from 11th to 14th
September 2023 at McCormick Place in Chicago (Illinois, U.S.A.).
The global manufacturer of paints and coatings will present its wide portfolio of finishing solutions for the metal industry, as well as three new services specifically developed to deliver fast, convenient and reliable support to businesses of all sizes:
- FASTtrack – a new service for customers that need liquid products in a 24 to 48-hour turnaround time;
- Stocked Powder Program – a programme with more than 475 products in stock and ready to be shipped, for users needing accelerated delivery and streamlined processes;
- E-commerce Store – a new online shop allowing small to medium-sized businesses dealing with powder coatings to order directly.
“These new programs and technologies are a direct result of conversations we have had with FABTECH attendees in the past. We listened, we addressed the challenges and we are excited to bring advanced solutions to this year’s show,” has stated John Morey, the U.S. marketing director of the General Industrial Coatings division of Sherwin-Williams. “We provide paint and coatings expertise when and where its partners need it. With liquid, powder and electrocoat technologies, as well as a full spectrum of colour and gloss options, we have the products and the people to help customers overcome all their coatings challenges. These new services further expand the ability to meet customer needs."
The personnel of Sherwin-Williams will also be hosting giveaways throughout the show, at booth D40316. As a matter of fact, visitors will have the chance to win a Color Reader Pro: a small and portable device that links to thousands of colours produced by the company via Bluetooth and simplifies colour matching.
In addition, Tabitha McLeish (global director of powder coatings) will share insights and expertise on powder coating and pre-treatment by presenting real-life challenges and troubleshooting approaches, while Michael Bauer (E-Coat application engineer) will discuss the latest advancements in e-coat technology, exploring the recent innovations in pre-treatment and application processes.
