The next edition of AMB takes place from 10th to 14th September 2024.
Walther Trowal will showcase its lates technologies during AMB
2024 exhibition to demonstrate the versatility of mass finishing technology for enhancing the surfaces of high-value metal components. Among their innovations is the Rotamat system, designed for environmentally friendly coating of mass-produced small parts using PFAS-free coatings.
Walther Trowal will present the centrifugal disk finishing machine type TT---A/2C for grinding, deburring and edge radiusing metal components. Indeed, this system can minimise non-productive idle times, offering good productivity and high throughput within a compact footprint. The double batch principle enables simultaneous processing of one batch while another is being separated – thus facilitating tasks such as deburring, edge radiusing and surface smoothing.
The company will also introduce the CB rotary vibrators, designed for seamless integration into interconnected manufacturing processes. Optional features like external work piece infeed chutes and gate clearing capabilities enhance their suitability for automated production environments.
Moreover, highlighting their commitment to eco-conscious solutions, Walther Trowal presents the Rotamat R 60 system for decorative or functional coating of small metal parts. This innovative system supports the use of PFAS-free coatings, addressing the growing demand for safer coating materials in response to environmental concerns. The redesigned Rotamat system offers manufacturers and coating job shops a straightforward transition to PFAS-free paints, reducing reliance on hazardous materials like PTFE and solvents.
About Walther Trowal
Since 1931, Walther Trowal has been developing and producing systems for the refinement of surfaces. Initially focusing exclusively on mass finishing – the term “Trowalizing” originated from the company’s cable address “Trommel Walther” – Walther Trowal has continuously expanded its product portfolio, developing a wide range of machinery and systems for mass finishing, shot blasting and coating of mass-produced small components.
Walther Trowal develops and implements complete surface treatment solutions that can be seamlessly integrated into linked production systems existing at the customers. This includes the entire process technology, perfectly adapted to the specific surface finishing requirements of the work pieces. Each individual work piece and each manufacturing process must meet special technical requirements. That is why the experienced process engineers in the test lab, in close cooperation with the customers, develop the optimal process technology for the finishing task at hand.
The company’s equipment range also includes all kinds of peripheral equipment for handling the work pieces like lift and tip loaders, conveyor belts and roller conveyors, as well as special driers for mass finishing applications and systems for cleaning and recycling of the process water. Walther Trowal conserves valuable resources and makes a significant contribution towards sustainability in the field of industrial production. Quick technical support and the global repair and maintenance service ensure high uptimes for our equipment.
The company serves customers in a wide range of different industries all over the world, such as automotive, aerospace, medical engineering and wind power.
