Thomas L. Williams will bring important contributions to the Board of Sherwin-Williams thanks to its vast experience in the coating sector.

Sherwin-Williams has recently elected Thomas L. Williams to its Board of Directors – consisting now of ten members, including nine independent directors.

In particular, his extensive and diverse operations expertise gained over the course of his career will provide invaluable perspective to the Board. Morikis, Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of Sherwin-Williams.
Williams currently serves as Executive Chairman of Parker-Hannifin Corporation, a leading worldwide manufacturer of motion and control technologies. Before joining Sherwin Williams in mid-2023, the new member of the Board covered several management roles in various multinational companies. He holds a Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering from the Bucknell University as well as an MBA from the Xavier University.
