This initiative is part of AkzoNobel’s strategy to modernise and optimise its operations, enhance competitiveness and promote sustainable growth, reinforcing its strong position in the French paints and coatings market.
The global paints and coatings supplier AkzoNobel has announced plans to invest €22 million in its existing flagship site for decorative paint production in Montataire (France).
In addition to the new site, AkzoNobel plans to reorganise its commercial and support functions as well as its distribution network. These changes will include transferring certain outlets to independent partners and closing others. As a result, the restructuring is expected to lead to a reduction of up to 211 positions while creating 29 new jobs in France.
