Date: 27/08/2024

The ISCC PLUS certification strengthens the expansion of Arkema Sartomer® UV/LED/EB curing resins in Asia.

Arkema has recently announced that it has reached a new milestone regarding its sustainability efforts: as a matter of fact, the international manufacturer of specialty materials has received the Mass Balance ISCC PLUS certification for its UV/LED/EB curing resins manufacturing site in Nansha (China).

The Mass Balance approach enables the company to launch the Sartomer® UV/LED/EB curing resins in Asia. The solutions are obtained from renewable and lower carbon-footprint sources, reinforcing the already existing bio-segregated offer containing up to 85% bio-based content. The new range of bio-attributed products supports the development of more sustainable solutions for fast-growing applications in local markets, such as advanced electronics, new energies, green mobility, living comfort and home efficiency.

“This certification ensures the availability of high-quality bio-attributed products to support our customers and value chain partners in the region in achieving their end-markets, as well as their own sustainability development targets,” has proudly commented Terry Lin, the General Manager of Arkema Greater China.
