The additives business of BASF has strengthened its production capacity to provide more sustainable solutions for the paints and coatings markets.
The
international raw materials manufacturer BASF has recently announced that it has expanded the antifoam manufacturing capacity at its plant in Dilovasi (Turkey). The new production line will allow a better response to the growing demand for Foamaster® and antifoam products in South Eastern Europe, the Middle East and Africa – thus improving the customer service and reducing lead times to ensure faster deliveries.
“The additional capacity in Dilovasi enables us to support the growth plans of our customers in the region and improve our service level,” has stated Joachim Burger, Head of Sales Additives EMEA.
The Dilovasi factory plays an important role in the additives business of BASF, serving as a key supply point for Dispex® AA products and defoamers. So, the recent expansion of the polyacrylate dispersant line and the newly-expanded defoamer capacity will further strengthen the role of the Turkish site in the additives segment of the company.
