The donation of the CEO of Cortec will help to fund the medical research group of the Mayo Clinic.
Boris Miksic – the CEO of Cortec® Corporation – and his wife Ines Tendler have recently joined the Mayo Legacy programme through a planned giving of a multimillion-dollar endowment, which will help to fund the cutting-edge medical research group of the Mayo Clinic.
Founded in 1977 by the Croation entrepreneur Boris Miksic when he emigrated to the United States of America, Cortec started its operations as a small business focalised in corrosion control in Hugo (Minnesota). Since then, the company has expanded its offerings and it is now an international business with offices in North America, Europe and Southeast Asia and a distribution network that covers over 100 countries.
“As a Minnesota based corporation, it is our mission to support clinical research for the benefit of mankind ‘made in Minnesota’. We are happy that the fruits of my life work will continue to impact future generations beyond my own lifetime thanks to the Mayo Legacy,” has proudly declared Miksic.
