The new Tecplus 8 powder coating applicator from Cetec simplifies the painting operations, ensuring lower temperatures.
The Brazilian paint equipment manufacturer Cetec
has recently launched Tecplus 8: a manual electrostatic applicator for powder coating that allows to programme the most common painting recipes such as the operations of plates and corners, as well as re-coating tasks in general.
Tecplus 8 is also equipped with a digital panel with a single on/off button and two regulators, one for flow and the other for powder equalisation. All on-board electronics are equipped with a microprocessor entirely produced by Cetec, while the integrated cooling system of the electronic components guarantees operation at lower temperatures. Lastly, the new applicator is supplied with a 285 grammes gun with polypropylene handle, the maximum flow rate is 550 g/min, it accepts circular or flat nozzles and is grounded via the trigger, thus increasing user safety.
“This feature makes using the equipment very practical and meets a demand we received from customers of the previous version of Tecplus. It is worth highlighting that, if desired, the user can also change the factory recipes according to their needs. In addition, we made the user interface even simpler. Not to mention that the electronic part operates at low voltage, which prevents the return of high voltage to the applicator and possible damage to its operation, extending the useful life of the electronic system and the equipment in general” has stated Eduardo Cenci, the director of Cetec.
