CIN, the Iberian leader Portuguese brand in the coatings market, goes further in their commitment with the environment and starts using 80% recycled plastic bags in their stores.
In anticipation of the law, this measure is at the forefront of a policy promoting the inclusion of recycled material, which CIN will adopt as a pioneer company in the sector.
It will be implemented in all plastic bags used at CIN stores, together with messages encouraging recycling, as promoted by Sociedade Ponto Verde, such as "Recicle Sempre" (Always Recycle) or the indication to place plastic containers in the yellow recycling bin.
CIN takes one more step towards an efficient and environmentally responsible management of paint waste and packaging waste, something the brand has long been promoting with the diffusion of the best practice guide from the Portuguese paints association (guia de boas práticas da Associação Portuguesa de Tintas (APT) and the 4 recycling and residue management rules supported by CIN: 1) purchase well; 2) reuse better; 3) recycle; and 4) eliminate packaging and paint waste.
At the forefront of innovation and the most advanced technological solutions, CIN continues to prioritize environmental impact prevention and control in all areas of their activity, by supporting Sociedade Ponto Verde's efforts and demonstrating to their users the possibility of recycling their products.
