DXQlogistics.control from Dürr ensures a digitally optimised material flow and a greater paint shop efficiency.
The German engineering company Dürr has presented the new DXQ software products from its Digital Factory that will allow to combine the EcoProFleet driverless transport system for Automated Guided Vehicles (AGV) with software solutions in order to ensure a digitally optimised material flow and a greater paint shop efficiency.
The DXQlogistics.control software of Dürr has been specifically developed to digitally control the material flow according to work deck usage, equipment and availability. It can autonomously decide about the next step and treat parts based on the body type and the defined processes. To optimise logistics, it can also take in destinations outside the route chart, such as outward transfer stations or temporary storage locations, allowing to respond flexibly if a malfunction occurs or if it is necessary to rework surfaces.
The combination of hardware and software enables variable production layouts and maximum efficiency and scalability in the industrial coating process. The AGVs can pick up any model, such as compact cars, SUVs, pick-up trucks and truck cabs, place them down in work decks and provide a smooth transition between them and a temporary factory storage, covering most of the painting process spectrum.
