Paint manufacturer Sherwin-Williams unveiled its 2022 colour of the year: Evergreen Fog SW 9130. This grey-green is a calming, cool and refreshing hue which is suitable for any type of environment, be it our domestic hearth or a commercial area.
This shade stems from the study of Sherwin-Williams' global colour and design team that researches and identifies key trends each year that influence how we interact with colours. From these findings, the team transforms emerging themes into the annual Colormix Forecast, which, for 2022, features 40 colours and 4 palettes.
Evergreen Fog is part of the Method palette in the Sherwin-Williams 2022 Colormix® Forecast, which embraces creativity, intention and discovery, and as the colour of the year it ushers in a new era of nostalgic mid-tones after years of neutral colours and bold jewel tones.
“Evergreen Fog is a sophisticated wash of colour for spaces that crave a subtle yet stunning statement shade,” said Sue Wadden, director of colour marketing at Sherwin-Williams. “Evergreen Fog inspires us to begin again and is a great choice for modern interiors and exteriors.”
