The newly-released Pro-Cryl 7000 by Sherwin-Williams is a water-based pre-fabrication blast primer, which provides temporary protection for steel surfaces prepared by abrasive blast cleaning.
Pro-Cryl's durability far exceeds any competitive water-based product; giving long-term weather resistance leading to an extended fabrication window. Compared to its closest competitive product, Pro-Cryl 7000 offers a 40% reduction in the amount of corrosion seen on a panel when corrosion tested over a period of seven days (50 µm dft blast clean to Sa2½ BS EN ISO 8501-1:2007).
