After approximately two years of an intensive process of bringing together the Austrian Rembrandtin coatings group and the Slovene coatings giant Helios, the "new" Helios group defines the next steps for the further development of the company. Hubert Culik and David Kubala have taken over the company management and put a special focus on product development and innovation, but also on the expansion of international business relations.
The roots of Helios Group date back to 1924, whereby some brands can even look back on more than 150 years of history and tradition. Today, the group – to which belong well-known companies like Rembrandtin Lack, Helios TBLUS, Belinka Belles, Chromos and Ecopolifix – is among the top 10 companies in the European coatings industry. The paints and coatings, which are used both in the industrial and the automotive sector, as well as in the DIY area, are the result of excellent raw materials, innovative ideas, trans-national expertise and an excellent R & D performance. This commitment makes the group one of the leading road marking manufacturers in Europe, the world's largest manufacturer for core plate varnishes and one of the most important European producers for railway coatings.
Just two years after the takeover by Ring International Holding AG (RIH), Helios Group generates a revenue of EUR 400 million (2015) and sells its products in more than 60 countries worldwide. While the first two years were marked by process optimization, service improvement and implementing synergies, now first steps are set for the next important phase in the further development of the group. The new management team under the leadership of Hubert Culik and David Kubala will lead Helios Group into a new phase of growth and technological development.
