The new 2K high solids polyurethane system of HMG Paints provides a high gloss finish to vehicles for the ACE and haulage industry.
The British paints and coatings manufacturer HMG Paints has recently presented the new CFB 2K System, a 2K high solids polyurethane coating that provides a high gloss finish to vehicle from the ACE and haulage industry.
The CFB 2K System is an ideal coatings solution for transport and haulage equipment, trailers, slurry tanks, site dumpers, earth moving equipment and other machinery. The CFB 2K Primer can be used Wet on Wet and has been specifically formulated to provide optimal sanding properties, adhesion and corrosion protection, while the CFB 2K Topcoat has flow properties that create a high gloss finish with excellent retention and chemical and weather resistance.
The new product of HMO generates low VOC during applications, so it useful to improve the sustainability of the production. Moreover, as the primer and the topcoat employ the same hardener and thinners, the new coatings also reduce costs for the customers.
“The superior anti-corrosive properties and excellent durability of our new CFB System prevent corrosion in all conditions, creating extended time to first maintenance that provides a huge benefit to customers who adopt the system,” has declared Danny Cleary, the Sales Director of HGM.
The CFB 2K System can be applied with Compliant Spray Gun, Pressure Pot or Airless/Air-Assisted and will also use HMG’s new ColourBase Colour Box, which features 2400 colour chips displayed in chromatic order within 20 fan decks.
