Jason Sussman has been named Senior Vice President & Chief Legal Officer of Lubrizol.
After an extensive search, the Lubrizol Corporation has announced that Jason Sussman has been appointed Senior Vice President & Chief Legal Officer.
Sussman has been serving Lubrizol in many legal capacities of increasing scope and authority for over eighteen years. In his new role and also as a member of the Executive Council, Sussman will coordinate Lubrizol’s global Legal and Corporate Responsibility teams – including Ethics, Sustainability and Regulatory Services – and will provide high quality legal and advocacy services to ensure that Lubrizol can operates as an ethical, responsible and sustainable business.
Sussman had obtained a BSc from The Ohio State University and a Juris Doctor degree from Cleveland-Marshall College of Law, before starting his career as a transactional lawyer at Khorman, Jackson & Krantz, LLP. He joined Lubrizol in 2003 as a mergers and acquisitions attorney and later became responsible for corporate transactions and commercial insurance functions. Most recently, he served as General Counsel and was responsible for protecting the legal health of the company by delivering competent and effective legal and insurance procurement services, supporting acquisitions and divestitures and commercial transactions.
