The new partnership with Sun Chemical will allow Azelis to strengthen its portfolio of pigment products in the CASE sector.
Azelis, an international service provider for the specialty chemicals and food ingredients industry, has recently announced a new distribution agreement with the manufacturer of inks, coatings, pigments and advanced materials Sun Chemical. The agreement also includes the pigment portfolio that Sun Chemical acquired from BASF in 2021.
Effective from 1st January 2023, the new partnership will allow Azelis to strengthen its portfolio of pigment products in the coatings, adhesives, sealants, elastomers (CASE) and advanced materials & additives (AM&A) markets in France and the Benelux region. The new products will then enable Azelis to position itself as a market-leading pigment provider.
“We are happy to grow our relationship with Sun Chemical, covering France and Benelux now. By including a new range of pigments in our portfolio that complements our current offering to the customers, we enhance both our lateral value chain and a leading position in the industry. With this new suite of pigments, Sun Chemical enables our teams to deliver our brand promise - innovation through formulation - to the fullest,” has commented Christian Pflesser, the director of the market segment AM&A in the EMEA region for Azelis.
Sun Chemical offers a wide variety of pigments that meet high performance as well as sustainability standards. In addition, in order to ensure a high and qualitative investment into innovation, Azelis is now supported by Berna Noyan – its new Business Development Manager for Pigments – who will strengthen the capacity of the company to assure that industrial chemicals customers will benefit from a broad product portfolio, solid backup and technical expertise.
