FendX Technologies Inc. has recently announced that its intellectual property position and nanotechnological products as well as its methods will be covered by the Chinese Patent Number ZL 202080055337.6 - Omniphobic Surfaces with Hierarchical Structures, and Methods of Making and Uses Thereof.
The Canada-based nanotechnology company is focused on developing products to make people's lives safer by reducing the spread of pathogens, especially by developing both film and spray products to protect surfaces from contamination such as REPELWRAP™ film, is a protective surface coating film that prevents the adhesion of pathogens and reduces their transmission on surfaces prone to contamination due to its repelling properties. The spray nanotechnology is a bifunctional spray coating specifically designed to reduce contamination on surfaces by repelling and killing pathogens.
FendX is conducting research and development activities using its nanotechnology in collaboration with the McMaster University, which exclusively licensed the Chinese Patent related to the fluoropolymer-containing material that reduces contamination of surfaces by significantly reducing bacteria and virus adhesion and transmission.
