Global Industrie will once again confirm its role as a major platform for promoting the attractiveness of industrial professions.

With over 6,000 young people and job seekers in attendance during the previous edition and more than 800 speakers and 50,000 professionals expected to take part in the next event, Global Industrie will once again confirm its role as a major platform for promoting the attractiveness of industrial professions.

From 11th to 14th March 2025 at the Eurexpo Exhibition Centre in Lyon (France), the industrial trade fair Global Industrie will bring together all the companies involved in the rehabilitation and renewal of the French Industry: as a matter of fact, it is the only event in France to bring together the entire industrial sector and its ecosystems, value chains and end-user markets.

Representing a showcase for the know-how and allowing the expression of talent, the trade fair will host over 2,500 exhibitors grouped together in fourteen areas to provide visitors with concrete solutions and meet the challenges of the industrial renaissance – whether economic, ecological or sovereignty related.

People at the forefront

Since it is the driving force behind innovation and growth, the human factor will be the main theme of the event, that will represent an opportunity to bring back to the forefront the people who are at the source of industrial, digital, environmental and societal transformation, as well as the inventors of the professions of the future.

To illustrate so, Global Industrie will be welcoming inspiring personalities such as top business leaders, highlighting the new initiatives and offering spaces to exchange knowledge with the younger generation – thus consolidating the industry of tomorrow.

A reinforced international dimension

Global Industrie 2025 will go beyond national borders to establish itself as a key event on the world stage. With more than eighty-four countries represented, it will welcome exhibitors and visitors from all over the world. International delegations, innovative start-ups and major foreign companies will discuss global issues and opportunities.

As a matter of fact, twelve international CCIs will be divide between a dozen international pavilions, including four regional Italian halls: the geographical diversity of the trade fair will create a unique platform for the creation of global partnerships and strategic collaborations in key sectors such as digital transformation, sustainable industry and new technologies.

“Global Industrie is the annual marker for the achievements, progress, vision and future prospects of the industry. It is the event that brings together those who make up the present of the industry and will do so tomorrow. Through specific highlights, this meeting is a territory of expression where everyone can present their innovations, exchange ideas, challenge each other and be inspired by industrial trends and current events,” has stated Nicolas Dufourcq, the CEO of Bpifrance.

An experiential immersion into the French industry

However, Global Industrie will also be an exceptional showcase for the French know-how, promoting the excellence and innovation of the French industry to international players. On the Main Stage, participants will be able to discuss the major issues that will shape the industry of today and tomorrow.

In addition, it will also foster the exchange of know-how, innovations and best practices. The Global Industrie TV platform, on the other hand, will showcase the skills, talents and uniqueness of all the manufacturers participating at the trade fair, while the GI Avenir area will help to raise awareness among future industry players by introducing them to the industrial fabric, the sectors and the professions. Furthermore, several others topics will be addressed.

Data: 5G, IA and cybersecurity

Today, data is at the heart of industrial strategy, enabling users to manage, optimise and make the industry even more competitive and resilient. The exhibition will then help to acculturate companies to the digital transformation by raising their awareness of the new uses of private 5G, new technologies and laws linked to cybersecurity and artificial intelligence. So, for the first time, a specific section of Global Industrie will cover the three main themes regarding data:

  • 5G, which provides increased connectivity to facilitate the transmission and sharing of data;
  • AI, which enables data to be analysed and put to good use;
  • Cybersecurity, which secures all this information.

Handling, storage, logistics and lifting

By optimising the handling, storage, logistics and lifting quartet, it is possible to generate significant productivity gains in automated inventory management and production and in order preparation, as well as in multiple robotised applications and all the equipment and tools required for these functions. For the first time, Global Industrie will also be featuring a specific section dedicated to supply chain improvement solutions that help to reduce costs and increase productivity and anticipate market fluctuations.

Safety and well-being at work

Crucial issues for any modern industrial company, safety and well-being at work protect the mental and physical health of employees and improve the productivity and the reputation of a company. Organisations helping to improve working conditions through solutions and advice to reinforce the safety culture will address issues such as stress, ergonomics, training, standards and technologies to combat musculoskeletal disorders (MSDs).
