Kaufmann will be responsible for the growth of the regional operating companies of IMCD.
The distributor of speciality chemicals and ingredients IMCD Group has recently announced that it has appointed Nicolas Kaufmann as the new Americas President of the company, starting 1st July 2022.
Kaufmann will be responsible for all operating companies in the region, with a strong focus on the stimulation of the growth through the development of supplier partnerships, the organic market expansion and the acquisitions, as well as the optimisation of the operational excellence, the digitisation and the sustainability.

Born in Argentina, Kaufmann joined IMCD Brasil in 2019, serving as a managing director. He has twenty years of international business and management experience in the business-to-business sector: he developed new markets in North and South America, as well as in Germany, and successfully managed several mergers and acquisitions. He also focused on business optimisation and the creation of a vast network of global business partners.

IMCD operates in thirty countries in the region and has offices in Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico and United States. The new Americas President will be based in the Miami metropolitan area.
