The new member of Nordson’s Board of Directors Christopher Mapes will strengthen the position of the company in the paints and coatings market.
The global supplier of coating systems Nordson Corporation has recently announced it has nominated Christopher Mapes to its board of directors. He currently serves as Executive Chairman of the board of Lincoln Electric Holdings as well as a member of the board of directors A.O. Smith Corporation and The Timken Company.

Chris is a talented executive with substantial global experience and a demonstrated track record of growing businesses, organically and through strategic acquisitions. Before joining Nordson, Christopher Mapes held several management roles for multinational companies such as Regal Beloit Corporation and General Motors – leading the areas of mergers and acquisitions, global operations, international compliance and developing strategic operating plans. He holds a Bachelor of Science degree from the Ball State University, a Master of Business Administration from the Kellogg School of Management and a Juris Doctor degree from the University of Toledo.
