Paul N. Gardner USA, a distributor and manufacturer of physical and quality inspection instruments for the paint and coatings industry, has announced its RTM digital micrometer.
The Testex digital micrometer simplifies the use of the Testex Replica tape measure, as well as taking measurements and creating reports. The micrometer measures in both microns and mils and features a bright, high-contrast digital colour display with large numbers for easy viewing in bright or dark environments. It also has a built-in memory for up to 250 readings with on-screen statistics.
In addition, simply select the type of tape being replicated to automatically apply the appropriate conversion factor and subtract the media thickness of 50 µm. In average mode, the micrometer prompts the user to take an average of two readings, in accordance with international standards.
