The 20th Pipeline Technology Conference will highlight innovations and global collaborations to foster meaningful discussions about the future of the pipeline industry.
The organisers of the Pipeline Technology Conference (ptc) have recently announced that the next edition will take place from 5th to 8th May 2025 at the Estrel Congress Centre in Berlin (Germany), gathering a very diverse array of participants from all around the world – including delegations from more than one-hundred pipeline operating companies – to highlight technological excellence and foster meaningful discussions about the future of the pipeline sector.
As one of the major European exhibitions for pipeline professionals, the 20th edition of the conference will offer a dynamic and forward-looking programme featuring a wide range of training courses, technical sessions, panel discussions, operator round-tables, award ceremonies and networking events. As a matter of fact, it will explore many topics at the forefront of the industry, including pipeline research, renewable fuels like hydrogen and biogas, CO2 pipelines, digital twins in the pipeline industry and strategies for managing ageing pipeline infrastructures – such as modernisation, conversion and decommissioning.
The next edition of the Pipeline Technology Conference will host also an increasing international audience: from advanced line pipe materials and construction techniques to state-of-the-art monitoring, inspection and maintenance solutions, attendees will have the opportunity to engage directly with leading companies driving the evolution of pipeline technology. The expanded exhibition floor will foster new connections, collaborations and business opportunities for pipeline operators, service providers and suppliers alike. Moreover, start-ups are encouraged to join one of the two dedicated areas.
Pipeline experts worldwide are invited to contribute by submitting their papers and presenting at one of the several technical sessions. The international Call for Papers is open until 30th
September 2024, providing a unique opportunity to share innovative research, case studies and new developments with a global audience. All submissions will be reviewed by an international Advisory Committee. An early bird discount applies until the end of 2024. Special rates are applicable for speakers, students and participants from pipeline operators.
