PPG has showcased its new anti-graffiti powder coating during the first day of the international trade fair PaintExpo.
During the first day of PaintExpo, the international trade fair for industrial coatings technology, PPG has presented its new PPG ENVIROCRON™ P8 Series Anti-Graffiti powder coating.
The new solution developed by PPG has been specifically designed to completely remove graffiti without damaging the underlying surface and it is also able to resist the harshest cleaners and chemicals. As it is formulated without block agents, PPG Envirocron P8 Series Anti-Graffiti coating does not include carcinogenic, mutagenic or toxic-to-reproduction (CMR) substances. In addition, the new easy-to-clean
and graffiti-resistant coating provides impact strength, elasticity and yellowing stability during the curing process.
PPG Envirocron P8 Series Anti-Graffiti coating can be used for several applications, such as:
- Public transportation – Long-lasting graffiti protection for trains, metros, subways and buses.
- Public institutions – Protection for furniture in schools, classrooms and universities and a strong outer shell for radiators and whiteboards.
- Medical environments – Protective effect against harsh chemicals, well suited for hospital furniture, medical-technical equipment and laboratory equipment.
“We’re eager to return to the PaintExpo, where we have the opportunity to connect directly with customers and showcase our full suite of coatings technologies. This year, we’re particularly excited to highlight our powder coating offerings, which is an area where we are investing and expanding to meet growing demand across the globe,” stated Michael Shukov, the general manager for industrial coatings in the EMEA region for PPG.
