Specialised in manufacturing operations and process optimisation, Kramer will help ChemQuest to expand engineering and project management services.
The ChemQuest Group, a global business strategy and technology development firm focused on specialty chemicals, has recently announced that it has appointed the manufacturing operation and process optimisation specialist Robert G. Kramer as the new director.
Kramer received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and has held several roles within the specialty chemicals industry, from sales to executive-level management. His leadership led to improvements in operational performance while helping to stabilise employee turnover and morale despite the pandemic.
The new director is expected to bring decades of specialty chemical manufacturing operations, financial and sales experience to ChemQuest and he will support the expansion of ChemQuest’s Manufacturing Excellence pillar, an engineering and project management service focused on plant and process optimisation, as well as on supply chain strategy and management.
“After a brief introduction to ChemQuest through a former colleague and now current ChemQuest Associate, I am thrilled to join and be a part of the ChemQuest Team. My background in various general management and manufacturing roles, mostly in the converting of polymers into compounds and packaging solutions complements the ChemQuest strategy in enhancing operational excellence and value creation. I look forward to using my knowledge and experience in helping customers be more successful,” stated Kramer.
“Bob is exactly the kind of person we aim to recruit at ChemQuest. His broad experience in specialty chemical operational management paired with his general management and communication skills make him a welcomed addition to the team. I look forward to working with Bob on future Manufacturing Excellence projects,” commented Dan Murad, the CEO of ChemQuest.
