IMCD aims to bridge the gap between knowledge by hosting a virtual sustainability conference for small-to-medium-size companies.
Sustainability is a complex and ever-evolving topic that could prove to be especially challenging for small-to-medium-size companies with limited resources. So, the Coatings & Construction and the Industrial Solutions divisions of IMCD have decided to partner in order to offer the free virtual conference ‘IMCD Sustainability Summit 2024’.
“Collaborating with our supplier partners for the Summit was crucial in closing the accessibility gap to sustainability knowledge: a challenge that small-to-medium-sized companies frequently face. As a distributor, we are uniquely positioned to connect producers with end markets. Our vision is to create a platform that goes beyond discussing sustainability challenges: we aim to unite industry leaders to provide attendees with practical solutions and actionable insights that drive meaningful and lasting sustainable change,” has declared Carola Duncan, the Global Marketing Director of the Coatings & Construction division of IMCD.
Held from 24th to 25th September 2024, the event will allow attendee to join more than eighteen live sessions led by experts from across the chemical sector. The Summit will be organised into three focused tracks: Circularity, CO2
Reduction and Alternative Raw Materials. However, the participants will also have access to presentations from major producers on several themes, including sustainable products, new initiatives and best practices.
“When we designed the agenda, we knew it had to go beyond just being relevant to our markets: it needed to be dynamic and offer a unique experience to attendees. This inspired us to create three distinct session types: Learn, Discuss and Solve. Each is tailored to deliver a different experience, from breaking down complex sustainability topics in under fifteen minutes to offering attendees actionable strategies to start or advance their sustainability journey,” has stated Katie Stiefermann, the Global Marketing Manager of the Industrial Solutions segment of IMCD.
The registration for the IMCD Sustainability Summit closes on Thursday 19th September, seating is limited.
